Bringing it back - Throw it out Thursday

My house is begging me to reincarnate  "Throw it out Thursday".   It can only handle so much negligence.

Since, for some reason, I find strange motivation from my readers out in blogland I thought I would see how this goes.  Take two.  So, promise to check in on me to make sure I get my chores done?!  And feel free to join in on your blog!

Here are the results from this week's project.  My baking cupboard.  (This is VERY important to me since 90% of the cooking I do consists of baked goods...remember...I could survive on cookies and cinnamon rolls alone.)

Next week's project:  Art/Craft supplies.
I never think of myself as a packrat until I organize and discover that I have a hard time letting go of things that "I MIGHT use one day".  Among the hardest things to purge are my old teaching supplies and materials!  Wish me luck.

Ok, you have to tell us where you got the containers from. I love how neat and tidy and stackable they are! Please don't say "Tupperware" brand I just can't afford to spend $60!

Target. Still not the cheapest, but they arrange nicely!

Dear Mrs Neat

When you finish, do you hire out?

As you know I am married to Mrs Neat. Of course I married Mrs Right...I just didn't know her first name was Always.

You have inspired you dear old papa to de-junk. Perhaps another garage fire would do the trick. Half the stuff we have isn't ours. As they say...the kids haven't really moved out until they take their stuff from the basement. Yes we still have boxes of Ali's Congressional Page Days etc.

Whatever you do don't have a block garage sales....I would always come home with more than we would have sold

Keep up the good work. Love Pops

Ali,

I am not sure if you remember me but I was your next door neighbor at Ricks, Colonial House 501. I was the crazy girl, Amy, and Layna's roommate. I found your blog through her.

I hope you don't mind that I have been spying on you through your blog! Your family is beautiful and reading your blog makes me smile! Life is good for you. :)

I just wanted to give you a shout out and say hello!

Amy

It's simply beautiful. I can't believe you have a regular supply of things like chocolate chips and coconut. You must be a great baker!

Are those 'lock n' lock' containers? At first I thought you got them at Costco???!!! Man, if I had those chocolate chips starring me in the eye all day - I would be in trouble! Love the look - I'm getting motivated to do the same - Maybe we'll have to compare cubboards! Great work!

PS.
Divulge (sp?) some prices for the interested crowd - our Target is 30 minutes away and can't just run in! I KNOW this is extremely personal!

Do you mind if I put a link of your blog on mine? Your blog is so fun. My favorite sites to visit are so much the same as yours. I always knew you had good taste! : ) We should get together some time and practice our photography skills or just play w the kids at the park.

LOVE IT!!!! I just redid my pantry with these super cute baskets from Michaels but now I want to redo it again with those containers. It looks so neat and tidy. I am always looking for new organizing tips. It's kind of an obsession. Most dental hygienists are borderline OCD.
