Yabba Dabba Doo

who knew Fred could sew?

I didn't.
He didn't.

But he does.
Every last stitch of these costumes (minus dino) was sewn by my man.

The costumes I was going to attempt would have included a lot more hot glue, staples, possibly scotch tape and would have looked prehistoric, for sure!

Great job T-roy!

sleeves, really?
homemade bloomers for Pebbles, seriously?
and pleats and tucks in my dress, who does that?

Yes, I might be a little, just a tad bit, teensy weensy jealous of my spouses skills.

So here we are:
The Flintstone Family

Possibly the last year of our family-themed costumes as some members of our family are starting to develop opinions of their own on Halloween cosutmes. Imagine that!

Happy Halloween!

Mardge never looked so good and Fred is fantastic. Who would guess that Caveman Troy could sew. No wonder you won the contest. They are going to disqualify you for winning each year. I am recycling my Whoopee cushion this year....I'll stick with a winner. I have sound affects this year.

I would definitely trust Jed with a sewing project more than myself also. But he never has attempted costumes, kudos Troy. You all look awesome.

Tell me he used a pattern. Please tell me he used a pattern. I've been sewing my butt off with a pattern and it's just about killing me. He better have used a pattern for all those awesome, amazing costumes. If not, he needs to change careers! I'm speechless.

VERY impressive! I was sure those costumes were store-bought. You all looked fabulous. You've got me wondering if my husband has this kind of hidden talent...Maybe I'll get him a sewing machine for Christmas!

Kind of makes you rethink that METRACHO post from a while back... emphasis on the Metro.

Wow. You guys really go all out. It's so fun. Shauna would be very proud of you for being so modest with a nude onsie underneath. So proud.
