progress report.

Somebody call  LOCKS OF LOVE  because today we reached a milestone!

**PIGTAILS**

not very big ones.  in fact, they are more like sprigtails, or pony spikes.  Or mulletails (see how that rolls off the tongue), at best.

But honestly, we'll take it.

It's the small things in life that should be celebrated!

So cute!! I am sure you are so proud. I could put pig tails in Cole's hair..hmm..I should try it.

How did you get her to sit still long enough to get those pigtails perfect. I could braid Kara's hair it's so long but I can barely get her to hold still long enough to put a clip in it. What's the secret?

I'm so jealous!! My little lucy is as bald as they come, or maybe as bald as you once were!! Love it!! Go Lucy, wear those piggies with pride!!

That's hilarious! My kids are born with wigs and I could have put pig tails in Luke's hair. My hubbie was a bald baby and I didn't have a ton of hair either so we don't know where all this hair came from. Most Moms do the "first haircut" around age 3. We do ours at 2 months.

Congratulations Ali. I cut Walter's Jewish side burns off....and they still need another trim. For some reason we do not have to worry about the mullet with him. It's all in the front.

I am requesting them for Sunday though...I can snicker for three whole hours!

ok--so cute! I love the first pig-tail pics. I have one for each child...definitely a monumental step! Did she keep them in long?

All I have to say is, Business in the front, Party in the back.

Oh, happy day. There's something so satisfying about pulling your baby's hair into pigtails for the first time. Love it.

I totally did that with my (now 7 yr old) Maren--- LOVE the mini ponies. Some of us just aren't fortunate enough to be born with hair
