Shake, Rattle and Roll.....

OK. Now I'm nervous. We just felt our 5th earthquake in the last week and a half. This morning at 4:30 am a 3.7 magnitude quake woke us from bed, then at 7:15 am another little shaker happened. I am starting to give 72-hour kits, food storage, and shoes under my bed a second thought. (None of which we have, by the way)

Is there a big quake in the making for So. California? Eeeeekkkk!

When the 4:30 one hit, Brandon said, "We've gotta get out of this state!" I think the quakes are just a little reminder to him that he wants to move as quickly as possible!

I didn't feel the ones today but there have been a lot lately. I remeber the week we moved here, there were two in a row and I was so freaked.

I hope there isn't a big one...Or I am going to have to learn how to do something with all this wheat.

I think it might be my fault. Steve was born about an hour before the 7.4 quake in Panarama City, CA. The papers called him boomer. So maybe this Steenhoek baby is rattling the ground beneath us. Everyone stay under the table tomorrow when Eden welcomes the world!

I don't have any of that stuff either! I may need to get prepped as well! I HATE earthquakes! They are so scary! Did you actually feel the past ones here?

Ali -
When I was down taking care of my brother in San Clemente (when he was sick), there was a tremor almost everyday - freaky - and they were minor. Can't image what the 'real thing' would be like. You guys take care and GET PREPARED ASAP . . .then "ye shall not fear" ! ! ! ! A little pulpit-preachin' time!
Luv you!

All this caused by you blog buddies meeting up. Really, what is the world coming to? You all look really dangerous...didn't think you'd cause plates to shift.

I live just outside of D.C. I love VA too - and I always say I want to live in S. CA...We could swap houses when we've had enough of our respective homes...just a thought

AHhh..I am so glad that someone besides me felt the earthquake at 7:15. I thought I was the crazy one because no one else felt it.
