Bodega Bay in Black & White

Prior to Christmas, we spent four glorious days in the sleepy town of Bodega Bay with my family.

Here are some of the sights. I thought I'd mix it up a little and post some black & white photos. It's hard for me to stray from color, but I'm willing to give it a whirl.

You can see why this location was chosen to film "The Birds".

Bodega Bay is even prettier in color. Only the kids (and the 2 brave wet suit clad surfers) would go into the water in December. Everyone cooked a dinner and sponsored a game night. The grandkids had as much fun as the adult-kids. Thanks to Troy for bringing the surfboards and guitar hero set. I heard that Santa even made a visit Christmas Eve at Ali's house. Of course I always miss his visit. Love Grandpa-Santa Jay

It has been so long since I've blogged, so i decided to stay up until 3am and go down my old blog list...and I just have to tell you i am breaking my no comments after midnight rule to tell you I totally love your photography - still - and I think I want to move to Utah and make you be my bff.

PS. go for baby 4. just do it.
