Two has definitely arrived at our house.
It's almost magic how it happens.
All is well. All is calm, then all of a sudden they turn two and they want everyone to know!
Lucy is making her 2 year-old statement by:
getting into things (make-up, lotion, shampoo, powder, etc)
pouting every chance she gets
insisting upon doing EVERYTHING by herself
Hitting us when she's ticked
Telling us to "go away" and "stop it"
bugging her brother and then playing the martyr roll
stubbornly ignoring us when we count to 3
and...
perfecting the scowl
Good news is, we still love her! Crazy how that happens.

man those blue eyes are killer.
I just love her little looks. And I'm still laughing at how she told us goodbye yesterday, classic.
Same, same. We've got one of those in our house too. Good to know its a phase. At least we can still pick them up.
what a cutie! I always say that their cuteness is their survival mechinism!
Kind of reminds us of a little girl 30 years ago who loved to sing "Twinkle twinkle little star how I wonder what I are" OR Lead me guide me walk INSIDE me.
seriously, chapstick tastes so good. I can see why she wants to eat it and spread it on her face. I used to eat the purple grape flavor and the root beer float flavor. she is smart, she knows where she can get an afternoon snack. I've started leaving the mentholated chapstick around the house for the kids to consume, I, on the other hand choose not to eat that flavor.
I see nothing wrong, looks like she was just experiencing a little dryness around the mouth area.
my niece ate a tube of chapstick once, it gave her the $#!+$ for like a week.
nice to meet you today. fun blog!
These are some wonderful photographs!
