Top of the Mornin' to ya....

The kids were greeted by mysterious leprechaun prints. They were still wet (with magical leprechaun slime) because our leprechaun forgot to come the night before and had to make an early morning mad dash through the house.

Jack and Lucy were bouncing with joy to see that the prints actually led to a treasure in the bushes. And let's be honest, I was pretty excited to eat some Lucky Charms myself!

(dagnabbit...there I go again spelling Leprechauns wrong on this picture. Too lazy to fix it.)

As the day progressed, I was beginning to think I had two LIVE leprechauns of my own! They were not interested in all the fun I had planned for them. Instead, they wrecked havoc of their own by throwing lucky charms cereal throughout the house, and dipping their sticky fingers into the green jello salad in the fridge. Oh well. Half the time I believe these holiday preparations are really done for my OWN fun!

Hope you had a great St. Patty's Day with out all the mischief!

Not only did I NOT plan anything fun for St. Patrick's day, I totally forgot to dress Hazel in green so I had to bring her something to put on when I went to help in her classroom.

I'm super impressed. Plus, I'm super glad I was on the phone with you when Jack and Lucy got into the jello!

Can I just tell you how cute your kids are and how cute you are? You always have the best pictures and the coolest ideas. Your kids are so lucky to have you as their mom! You do such great things with them!

Jayne - trust me when I say half of this was not planned, and the other half went awry with me screaming at my kids. The saying should go...a picture DOESN'T tell a thousand words!

Leanne - enough with that magical talk. first off, I don't have 6, yes SIX, kids! Second, i love to do this kind of stuff. It keeps my mind busy!

Wish we could have been there to see their faces when they found the jewels. I think the sorting game will work better in a couple of years although it looked like Jack had fun eating the cereal.
Next year try dying the toilet water green. I do that at school and the kids actually think the Leprechauns went potty!! It may help with the potty training (ha,ha)! Green kisses from Grammy

Cowboy. You know how good I am with my accents.

I am thoroughly impressed with the efforts of your St Paddy's day. I need to take notes from you. I did nothing, so props to you - even if the kids didn't appreciate it!
