Am I feeling alright?

What's wrong with me?

I can't seem to find my zest for blogging.

Did it stay on vacation after I came home?
Has it run out of things to say?
Perhaps it wants to move on to less time-sucking tasks?
Maybe it just needs a few days off?

Bear with me while we get things figured out....

In the meantime we will be:

1.  Battling the binky war.
2.  Considering changing the diaper situation with Jack.
3.  Working on Lucy's hairgrowth for her 1-year old celebration.
4.  Getting cough and phlegm free
AND
5.  Enjoying moments of play...together (finally)!

Hope you all get over your sickness. I hope we were not the carriers from our recent visit. You should become a blog stocker-like the rest of us and enjoy other's blogs for a change. From Jack and Lucy's maternal (whatever that means) grandpa Jay

I hope you all get feeling good soon! The binky war is in full swing here, and we are also working on hair growth for totally different reasons other than a first birthday celebration!

Have a good day!

Oliver was OBSESSED with his binky. I thought it would be the worst thing ever getting rid of it but it wasn't that bad. He was almost three we had a big party with friends and everything (well more like cousins) anyways we had him throw his binkies (he had tons) off the bridge into the river. Then we took him to toys r us and he got to pick a toy. He asked about it a couple of times after that and I reminded him we threw it out, but I was preparing myself for the worst couple weeks of my life. It wasn't that way at all. He would really miss it if he was watching tv or was tired and that was sad. But I couldn't believe how well it went. (and he was attached to those things...he still has certain ones he shows me at the store and tells me those were his favorite)

I don't think we are related... but we very well could be on the same wavelength. I was totally not into blogging - I lost the zest these past 2 months. I even deleted my old blog posts! Hah - "I go a little crazy, sometimes" So I understand... At least Lucy has a cute face and little hair... I mean, if she wasn't so cute that might not be such a good thing. She's a doll! I love those bows too.

Well, have a great break!

PS love the pics!

I hope you guys are on the mend soon!

We totally understand the binky war situation. I am just too lazy to do it right now...I think I am the one who needs him to have the binky!! (at least for a couple more weeks).

I hear ya...I'm having a super hard time motivating myself to blog. Please don't stop though, your blog is so fun to read! Isn't it so fun to watch your kids play together?!

We lost all the binks when she was about 6 months old. Only one day did we go without. I went to the store and bought more but she would have nothing to do with them. She was a little cranky for a few days (and believe me there are days I wish I could stick a bink in there) but I am forever grateful for that day "when we lost the binks"! And don't worry even if you never post again I have all your old posts to keep me entertained.

We can empathize with you in sickness and bald baby girls. Hope your feeling better today. It's off to the dentist for us. If you stand out on your front porch you'll probably be able to hear our screaming.

Hey cuz

How is jack doing Potty training? I am thinking about trying it or should I wait till his 2nd birthday? How is this binky thing going? I keep saying I want to get rid of it but I guess I am in no hurry, he only has it at bedtime and naptime. Any ideas that work for you let me know. I miss seeing you. Your kids are so cute. Is lucy trying to walk yet? Does her and jack play nicely? Sometimes I feel like I have another sibling in the house since we got our puppy we are trying to teach Daniel to be nice and he his very jealous.

Dang you have lots o comments on here. I agree...we have been sick too...hence the neglected blog of my own. One potty traing note: Jacob potty traned by force at age 3.9 yrs-baby #3 was on the way. Marcus is potty trained and diaper free even at nap and pm at age 2.5. He did it all on his own...let them do it when they are ready...if not it could get ugly! When it got ugly w/ Jacob, he held in his poop and then went through 12 pairs of underwear a day. W/ Marcus that meant poop smearing all over his bedroom-so nasty, but infortunately true. Remind yourself that it could be worse than just plain ole diapers.
