getting to know her

she is a nighttime dream...only one midnight feeding
loves to be cuddled next to mom
enjoys gazing at jack and other surroundings
hates cold wipes
gets hiccups after every feeding
has really sensitive, flaky skin
likes to be bundled in warm, fluffy blankets
easy, calm temperament

I finally found some motivation to get out my camera. For a zillion pictures of LUCY, go HERE.

Okay, my comments regarding your last 3 posts. Your dad in the tub with Jack--took me back a little, but I can SO get past it to appreciate what a fun grandpa he must be.
Two--when did Jack turn into a little boy? That picture of him in that swing made me laugh out loud. What a monkey.
and finally...I am so jealous that you have a cool photographer friend--those photos were so darling! But i have to give props to you--you are such a good photographer as well! I wish I had more motivation than just point and click, but sadly, I'm usually just glad I even got my camera out in the first place.
Little lucy sounds like a dream....I want to come see her soon!

Looking at these photos makes me so sad that we don't live two doors down. Our kids could make messes in the back yard together while we enjoyed the sun and some good conversation. A few days in June just doesn't seem like enough! But we'll take what we can get.

oh and ps. your blog "to bubby"....are those things written to Jack? Is anyone privy to that blog or do you just keep it private to all but leave it bookmarked here so you can post on it anytime?

I'm nosy...i need to know. :)

Oh she is just darling! I love seeing her all swaddled and comfy. Jack reminds me of my Sadie in Allie's swing . . . have to keep our eyes open all the time.

Ali, she is beautiful and you are an amazing photgrapher. I am always amazed at what you do. I struggled with the good ole point and click, but it is so fun to see photos from someone who really knows what they're doing.

We call my 22 month old, Aaron, Bubbies. I thought it was funny to see that on your sidebar, I'm assuming that's Jack?

Ali, she's darling! Again, congrats on a second round, job well done. I laughed when I saw Jack in her swing -- Henry did the same thing in Ruby's carseat and swing. Hilarious.

I have a photography question (seeing how great you are) but don't want to bore your readers with my dumb questions. Would you mind emailing me when you get the chance? celia_christensen@hotmail.com

I realize you're a new mom of 2 so don't stress -- just when you find a free moment with absolutely nothing else to do (since we all have tons of those, especially with new baby #2).
