Oh what I would give...

to be a HAMSTER! in only 16-20 days, these little creatures complete the cycle of childbearing! not only that, but they usually produce not one, but many offspring in one shot! can you imagine that? I bet these guys don't get cankles either?!?!

i am, however, grateful to NOT be an elephant. (although I resemble one right now) 22 MONTHS is their gestational period! i think I would have to shoot myself!

well. 9 months has almost come and gone. I say that so easily as if it hasn't been drudgery, but when you are nearing the end, somehow all those 9 months don't seem so bad.

Last Sunday we went on a walk in a nearby nature preserve and I realized I had only taken one photo of my pregnant self. For Lucy's (our baby girl) sake, i thought i should take a few for her memory book. So here they are. Me at...eek...7 1/2 months. Hard to believe the majority of belly growth is yet to come.

Thank you to the photographer, Troy. Now, does anyone know a good photoshopper for some cyber-surgery on the jowels and arms?

You are brave to take prego shots. I never did. I hate the way I look pregnant! You on the other hand look cute! I am excited for your little girl. Hey, I called you over your break, but never got through . . . sad. Maybe some other time?

Love it I know all too well how you feel, but once your holding her it won't seem so bad. Those pics are really cute, jesse couldn't have done that. At least that's who I blame for not having a good picture of myself. You'll be glad you have those later.

So glad your back in action! I cant believe that your hair is now longer then mine! Love those photos. I wish that my photographer would have been willing to help me out with recording my pregnancy on film. PS love those pants they look so comfy! I could use a pair of those right now. Did I tell you my maternity pants are starting to get a little tight. That doesn't bode well for me!

You look great! I couldn't post my prego self on here, the picture wouldn't even fit. I am at 7 1/2 now, and have been asked if I'm having twins. I didn't know you had picked the name...Love it. Hang in there. I keep wondering when it's really too early to go into labor. I feel sooooo done.

Hooray... finally you are back... we have missed you and your blog. I think you look smokin' hot. At least compared to any of my other sisters. You gotta start doin' jumping jacks to get Lucy out of you before she turns into a monster like Jack. Actually... I am sure she will be less than 6-7 pounds...... yeah right. good luck we are rooting for you!

OOPS that was coming from G-ditty NOT M-Pac... yeah those are the names we use here in our CHI-town ghetto..

YEAH! Hip, hip Hooray! Did you have to buy a whole new computer? We might have to buy a whole new car because of my stunt today...check my blog.

I love your pregnant pictures. I need to take more myself. The problem, as you well know, is that I am always the one with the camera in my hands. Your pictures look soooo great!

Why are you waring short sleeves? Are you meaning to tell me that it is not 18 degrees outside in California like it is here in Missouri? BRRRRRR!
