no computer

weep, sigh, cry...NO INTERNET right now.

Actually, no computer. Jack spilled some water on the kitchen counter by our laptop, and now it doesn't work. talk about lump in the throat. eek.

I am taking it to the apple shop today prepared for the worst. don't worry that the warranty expired Dec. 29th. another weep...sigh. wish us luck.

until then...you will have to be satisfied with old-news blogs.

Sienna was sick a couple of weeks ago and she threw-up on our lap top. We were not happy, but lucky for us it was only on the key board and Steve was alble to replace that. Good luck.

Our computer died right before Christmas. Nice $560.00 expense when you're trying to buy presents for the kiddos and keep it all in the budget! Now, I have a nice, fast computer that I love. I guess there is a positive side to everything! I do hope yours is fixable though.

I feel your pain!! The power supply on my mac is on the fritz and so my laptop is feeling more like the world's smallest desktop because I can't unplug it. But I can't bear the thought of being without my computer, so I still won't let Jared take it in.

I've just caught up on your latest blogs as I've been behind on getting to my computer. What a little awesome photographer you've become little Al. I wish that little Jack knew his auntie Jayne a little better. I'm sure he and Parley would be great friends!

Ali~ you've been missed.
I am just wondering what happened with the $2,000 AFP test? I just got an AFP bill in the mail that was one big mistake and I ended up talking to a lady from the state (where all the AFP tests in CA. are sent to). I also told her about you having a bill for $2000 and she said that it was illegal. If anything it would just be a little over $100.00. She gave me her direct line in case you were still dealing with it and needed to clear it up with someone. She solved my bill issue in minutes. I seriously just wish there were more people like her out there. It would make my life 10000 times easier. I hope by now you've solved the problem and that you didnt pay. Let me know though if you need her number.

I've JUST come out of mourning for you and your computer - the black comes off tomorrow. I'm so sorry to hear the bad news.

Ali, I'm missing you. You should move in with Kelly so you can blog all day, and she can cook you the best meals ever.

I guess the news was pretty bad? I miss you and keep checking back daily to see if you are back. Maybe you've decided this life away from blogging is enjoyable and welcome. Hope to see you soon.

What Ali would say if she could...
Auntie Jayne, we're sure Jack would just love his Aunt Jayne and we so wish we could see you guys more.
Hull Family, I got the AFP test fee's cleared! No charge!
Berta, your support and mourning don't go unnoticed. We wish we lived closer to you guys. We would have such a great time.
Sheena, Tell me about it, I'm having Sheena withdrawals but, I'm afraid Troy wouldn't come back home once he got used to Kelly's meals.
Birdnest, Don't worry, "I'll be back" (read in the voice of Arnold).
Ali loves and misses you all. We're so grateful for good friends.

Troy (for Ali while working hard on the job)

I love your recent posts, I just haven't been blogging much. It's fun to see your Christmas pictures. It seems like I don't see Jack too often anymore. He's looking so big! We definitely need a play date. I'm excited for our zoon excursion!
