He Joins His Wife in HEAVEN...

Gordon B. Hinckley

The news hit hard last night. We lost our beloved friend and Prophet who has valiantly lead our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for almost 13 years. I know this will be popping up on blogs all over the world, but I just wanted to add my love to a man who has inspired me to be a better person and to strive to live each day committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ. I will miss his humor, quick wit, his boldness of character, the love that radiated from him each time he spoke, and hearing his powerful testimony of Christ and this church. I am so happy he gets to be with his wife in heaven whom he seemed to miss so much!

I think that's one reason I'm not as sad as I could be. He gets to see his wife and have the best reunion in heaven--and just think of all the other people he'll see. He was my favorite prophet and I can still hear his voice in my head whenever I read anything written by him.

How crazy is that. I do feel sad, on one hand but so incredibly happy for him. He was is an amazing man and did so many amazing things. I just cant believe how sudden it was. I think he was probably twinkled up. That was a beautiful Blog about him!!!

So yeah, everyone has their own little tribute on their blogs....and yours is the one that really got to me. Everything was so nicely put. I will miss him so much, but really, can you imagine how happy he is!

I've been crying all morning because my kids won't know President Hinckley like I did, but I am so happy that he & Marjory are reunited. Thank you for putting into words what I can't.
(You should write a book in all your spare time you really are a good writer)
