Please don't be scared...

With Halloween just around the corner, I thought I would do a Monday Memories post of past Halloween costumes. You know, just to get the creative juices flowin'.

As I looked through my archives, I noticed that in 2 of the 4 pictures I am dressed as a burlesque man. Please don't be scared after my lesbian post. It is really not what you think...REALLY! You believe me, right Troy?

I am not always an avid Halloweener. In fact, some years go by and I don't even put on a costume. However, I do LOVE wearing wigs. Give me a good wig and I'll think of something to do with it. Even if it does require some embellished chest/facial hair.

What was your best costume ever?

Retro Basketball Pros

Washed-up Baywatch Babes (don't worry that we went to the ward party in these outfits)

Drunken Sailor (and my friend, who I convinced to be Mr. Clean)

Marge and Homer Simpson

I love these Halloween pictures. I've heard about these Baywatch costumes, but I've never seen them. That's funny!

I LOVE them!! Please explain the whole eye situation on the Simpson costume.

I'm so happy to know I'm not the only one who spent many of my Halloweens dressing up like some kind of weird man...."homeless dumpster diving man that drinks from a bottle in paper bag" never failed me.

OK- I like you even more now Ali! Someone who can dress up in silly costumes? A girl after my own heart! I don't remember my best costume. Last year I was Lucille Ball though and did have on an itchy red wig! You'd have been impressed!!!

Hey, isn't that Jeff Smith from Nu Skin?!?

ali said...

yup...it's Jeff alright. My "friend" who was fun to "hang out" with platonically, who tried to kiss me one night and it ended everything! I was waiting for you or adrienne to recognize a fellow nu skinner.

Awesome! I think I was around for the basketball star outfit--am I right? That was when you were a lesbian. Oh wait, Troy knows right? :)

I love all the wigs. I wish I could wear them everyday. You know, to PTO meetings and lunch in the cafeteria at school with the kids. They just help give you a little extra spunk for the day. I'll dig out my hippie photos this week and share with you. You are so creative!

I swear, Nu Skin should change their old motto "Force for Good" to "Force for Hook-Ups." Seriously, how many current/former Skin employees do you know who have a)met and dated at least one other employee; b)randomly made out with at least one other employee (hopefully not while on the Skin's clock); or c)met their spouse at the Skin?

I would guess you know at least one person (you're probably one of them) who falls into each of those categories. Heck, Adrienne and I shamelessly fill all three of those categories (well, she met John Z. as a Skin employee who introduced her to Jim Z. so that pretty much counts for option c).

Ali...How Hilarious! I loved the Homer and Marge costume, so funny you guys pulled it off...I love that homer had his shirt untucked...nice touch!
My favoritest costume was when I went as a brick and Schuyler went as a brick layer....hahaha. I dont think people in your ward would find that too funny though.

Oh my goodness! Those are so clever and cute! My husband and I are going as David Beckham and Posh. It was his idea, but a great one, I think!
