Morning Walk

I looked out the window this morning and saw a glorious sunrise. I quickly dressed and fed Jack so we could take off for a walk to the lake. Of course I packed my camera to experiment with photographing light.

Disclaimer: I know about 3% of what there is to know about photography, but I like to experiment.

These two pictures were taken at the same time of day (7am). With different camera settings, they turned out COMPLETELY different. I love the darker one because it captures the amazing sun rays.

I LOVE that top picture!! I love that you know how to do that too because I have absolutley no idea...

I'm also glad that you put the second pic up because I thought Jack's head was a mountain (no offense to Jack....Jonah's head is finally starting to take the downward climb from 90percentile.)

Impressed by two things! 1. You can get out of bed at the same time the sun in rising and 2. You are an amazing photographer. Way to go!

Sheena - I'm always scared to ask the doctor what percentile jack's head falls into. I am sure it is off the charts.

Marie - I don't have 4 kids. That's why I can go on an early morning walk!

Ali your awsome. I don't care if you only know 3% of photography. You have the eye for it. I know 97% of it, but don't have the eye. That's why I photoshop everything.
