It's a GIRL!

Yep folks...it's true! Our #2 child is a girl!

This is what immediately came to my mind...

(well, close...but not really)

Pink and bows, and blankets with ruffles, and jewelry, and nail polish, and girls nights out, and dresses with tights, and well...you get the idea.

I think this is what immediately came to Troy's mind...

Money. And maybe ages 12-18.

We are both thrilled to know she is a healthy baby so far. Now just wish us luck in raising a girl. :)

EEEEEEEEK!! I'm so exicted for you!! That is the same pic that came to my mind when we found out we were having a girl....although I imagined more ruffles if you can believe it....and I was pretty sure she'd be born with a bow on her head. I was SOOOOO scared because boys are so easy and I'm really not the ruffley type but it really is SO much fun!

Congrats!!!!

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, we can both be in debt together trying to dress our girls. We probably will be having our girls at the same time seeing how my little one is content to just stay put!!!! Love you guys!!

Amy - I think you already know that our American Dream has never included a dog (unless it comes with a nanny)

Mere - I feel great these days!

Kel - Share? How bout you just babysit a few times a week?

Lindi & Sheena - I think the three of us will have a Lucy! Love the name!

Congratulations Ali! Adrienne told me the big news and I'm so excited for you. As we have a boy, then a girl, I think you've got the best combo going so far. Troy sounds like Scott -- he said he's officially relinquishing all discipline and responsibility of Ruby when she turns 11. Like teenage boys are a piece of cake, either!

Anyway, congrats. Get ready for doing all those hairdos! (Although I was ready from day one, Ruby still doesn't have enough hair to do anything with.)

Totally WICKED! I can't believe you are now going to have to put up with lots and lots of girl CRAP. Well, I think they are more challenging than boys. SO COOL!

Ali,
I'm SOOOO excited for you to have a baby girl.
Congratulations and my best wishes. I just had thoughts of You, Kelly, Marie, and Holly and some of the things you all did growing up. Some things were wild and crazy. Hang on to your hat!!

So- are you excited? Girls are super expensive!!! There is so much fun stuff. That top picture of that little fru-fru girl is so funny! So over the top and sick! I put big bows in my girl's hair but now I am going to think twice about it. Ha- ha! So- do you have names? Congrats! That is great news. Now you don't have to ever feel the pressure to have a girl (or boy) since you've got one of each!!!

Congrats and good luck! I'm glad she'll have a big brother to show her the way. I'm the oldest of 4 girls, I think you'll be more than fine! I'm not a mother yet - but all my friends feel like girls are easier than boys when they are young. I'm sure you'll be great parents and the teenage years won't be bad because she'll have a solid foundation. Congrats again!

First of all Happy Belated Birthday you old lady!! I hope you had a super fun 29th celebration!

And Congrats a million times on a baby girl. I hope she doesnt like barbie dolls like my niece does. They are so expensive and so boring to have to play. I would so much rather play in the dirt and mudd with toy trucks than have to play barbies. Im so happy for you two and GOOD LUCK!

I'm so nervous and excited to find out what we are having! Just a few more weeks. YIKES! SO, Happy Birthday but I still don't know exactly what day it is on. I'm supposing you are giving yourself a present by taking a break from the blog. I miss you. I hope you come back soon.
